Can you hear me now? Good.

Well I was one of the fortunate unfortunates who purchased a Motorola V710 immediately when released last summer. Oh I bought it anticipating that my phone would be able to talk seemlessly with millions of gadgets in a language known as bluetooth.

Sure it could talk to headets and it could be used as a modem, but in other features it was sorely lacking. Couldn't do PIM Management, OBEX file transfers or any of that other bluetooth goodness.

So a bunch of phone geeks got together and filed a class action lawsuit. Verizon settled. This means, if you bought a v710 before 1/31/2005, then you're entitled to the full purchase price refund of your phone. Woo hoo!

Although I've gotten an e815 since then, I'm still looking forward to trading up to the CDMA RAZR.

Looks like Verizon will be getting me a christmas present this year.
