Woman Loses Ms. Wheelchair Title
This sounds like a familiar Seinfeld Episode.
Janeal Lee, who has muscular dystrophy and uses a scooter, had the Ms. Wheelchair Wisconsin title taken from her after photos of her standing up surfaced.(left)
Although she does have a disability and does use a scooter, Apparently she is not handicapped enough for the powers that be.
"I've been made to feel as if I can't represent the disabled citizens of Wisconsin because I'm not disabled enough," Lee said. She had raised $1000 dollars to go on the trip with her sister.
I wonder if she'll stand up and fight, or if she'll take it sitting down...
