Phishing Requests

This is just a question for everyone, I had never received a phishing scam until the one I posted about a few weeks ago.

Now it seems like I get one a week? Has anyone else seen a rise in this kind of activity? I've received one now for Citibank, MBNA, Ebay and a couple others. Why would anybody really want my ebay account info?

And can't some feds do a trace to this phishing IP address?

Yeah I've got one every day for the past few days. Is it a gmail thing? I just got that ebay one yesterday too!

I dunno if its a gmail thing or what, but I just got one today from "wells fargo" with an MBNA logo. This one said it was sent from a gmail account.

Would Gmail and the feds be able to use the PATRIOT act to search the inbox and possibly a history of IP addresses that account has been accessed from?

LOL! Bryant, don't you remember what Lord Bush said in regards to the PATRIOT Act? He said it was for terrorists only!!! Hehehehehe...well, so much for that, huh?

I guess that whole 4th Amendment thingy in the Constitution was getting a little old anyway, huh...no more warrants needed in this country!
