The Story of Ashley Smith
Ashley Smith was held at gunpoint by Brian Nichols (the Atlanta courtroom gunmen) in her appartment. Some of this story is worth thinking about.....
"I believe [God] is the only person that helped me through that,"
"You're here in my apartment for some reason," she told him, saying he might be destined to be caught and to spread the word of God to fellow prisoners. She told him his escape from authorities had been a "miracle."
"I honestly think when I looked at him that he didn't want to do it anymore," Smith said at a news confeence Sunday. "I believe God brought him to my door."

she also baked him pancakes, read to him from the Bible and from Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life. it not what one expects to happen from a stand-off...
notes after all this happened when polic surrounded the appartment and he gave up peacefully.... I am not saying that this is some magic proof that Christianity is right or that she "duped" him with religion.. what i am saying is this is something that makes me think....
