Camel Spider
I'm not quite sure that this qualifies as an oddity, but it's pretty darn close. I certainly don't sleep as well at night knowing that camel spiders exist. Here's some footage of the beast in action.

Some things I've hard about camel spiders:
-they can run faster than a man
-they can climb up a man
-they instinctively know to attack the face

ive heard that camel spiders are fuckin two feet long and can eat a mans arm off or if this isnt true than those bush aint the only one lying to us
