Madison, WI Bars Accused of Price Fixing
Students at UW-Madison have filed a class action lawsuit against 18 Madison bars. The suit claims that these bars have conspired to set prices, cheating students and others out of millions of dollars.

I hope they win. Do you know how bad it sucks not to have any drink specials on teh weekend? Also the proposed motivation for eliminating drink specials was to curb binge drinking. In Madison, where drinking is a competative sport, this is just not going to happen. Also charging us more for drinks is not the way to do it. How many times have you been drunk and really cared about how much you were spending? I don't know about you, but alcohol has the tendency to make me extremely generous with my money. All this does is cost us poor kids more.
